Rotary is a worldwide organization of business and professional leaders that provides humanitarian service, encourages high ethical standards in all vocations, and helps build goodwill and peace in the world. Approximately 1.2 million Rotarians belong to more than 32,000 clubs in more than 200 countries and geographical areas.

Our local club consists of over 70 generous and dedicated men and women who live and work in Park County, Wyoming USA. We take pride in the projects we support. We are always looking for more ways to be of  "Service Above Self." A brief list follows telling what we do in our community.

Donated $25,000 to the community rec center
• Gives yearly scholarships for Cody High School students
 
 • Donates dictionaries to local grade schools as part of the Literacy Program
 • Purchased TWO "Shelter Box" Housing Units for disaster victims in third world countries

• Donated generously to the STEP program
• Donates to Crisis Intervention Services

• Supports the local Boys and Girls Club
• Sponsors yearly road clean up
 
 • Provides Warming Barrels for Christmas Parade
 • Sponsors the Christmas tree mulching project
 • Supports needy Family Christmas Lists in Cody

• Donated 250 wheelchairs to handicapped people in Guatemala
• Donated dollars to a water project for homeless and aid victims in Guatemala

• Donated over $52,000 to local beneficiaries over the last 18 months

• Cody Rotary Club Members have given over $70,000 to Rotary International Foundation since becoming a club 58 years ago.

Rotary International is a worldwide service organization dedicated to humanitarian, educational, and cultural exchange programs that touch people's lives in their local communities and our world community.

The Rotary Foundation YEARLY produces US $90 million for international scholarships, cultural exchanges and humanitarian projects large and small. In these ways, we improve the quality of life for millions of people around the world. The Rotary Foundation is supported by the 1.2 million service minded men and women of Rotary.

Rotary's goal is to eradicate polio from the face of the earth with the help of thousands of volunteers, donors and the World Health Organization. More than one billion children have been immunized against polio through PolioPlus grants. US $500 million will have been donated since 1985.  On one day in India,150 million children were immunized during the National Day of Immunization or NID.

 Cody Rotarians are proud to serve their local and international community.
